Heather was a great host. We loved our stay, the surroundings and the restaurants around it. The only thing we had trouble with was the lock on the door. At times it would take a while for the code to work and get inside. However, Heather was super helpful about how to work the lock. Overall good stay, I would recommend to stay here if you want to visit a walkable area in Portland.

Super cozy basement apartment in a beautiful area. Very walkable up tons of good bars and restaurants in Burnside. Could hear everything the upstairs guests were doing but fortunately they seemed very quiet and courteous. No complaints!

Perfect location, lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. The place is cozy and clean, and while it is a basement unit, there's a decent amount of light that finds it's way into the unit. The sunken living room helps make the space feel more open. Would definitely come back if I needed a decently priced three bedroom spot.

Entrance is around the corner from the main entrance to the house which works well. Parking especially at night can be tight but that is true pretty much everywhere in Portland. We ended up leaving a day early due to weather and we were there during the worst storm of the winter (thus far this year anyway) but were still able to do everything we wanted. No problems at all related to the accommodations or location.

Heather’s place was perfect for us. Super comfortable & clean. Short walk to to great food and drink. Nice neighborhood too. We’d definitely stay here again given the opportunity.
